Intuitive Eating Sessions
VIP Intuitive Eating Sessions are a series of sessions where we’ll work together to help you gain clarity and understanding around nutrition. You’ll learn how to reconnect with your body. We’ll talk about your current relationship with food — and provide the guidance and support you need to feel empowered to build the type of relationship with food that you want.
As a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, I’ll share sound nutrition advice. And, we’ll cut through all of the diet fads and myths that make eating for pleasure feel more like a shame-filled obstacle course of “don’t eat this and watch out for that!” You’ll learn how to assess your natural internal hunger cues so you can start eating the way your body wants you to eat — not the way society wants you to eat.
Like overcoming any challenge, unlearning misinformation spread by a lifelong induction into diet culture is a commitment. To be successful, you need to be sure you have all the best resources possible. Having a partner who has the expertise and tools to guide you — someone who understands the science and process to help you ditch diets for good — is key.

For this reason, the VIP Intuitive Eating Sessions include a thorough application process. There is an initial application, an invite-only pre-interview, and a final invitation to begin your sessions.
Before we take a deep dive into assessing your internal hunger cues or working to reframe your thoughts about food through education and guidance, it’s important you understand that ditching diet culture isn’t about hopping into a new program or plan to follow.
It’s about clearing up misinformation around food and pseudoscience. It’s about making peace with food, challenging food rules, and working through life-long thoughts and habits. It’s about unlearning food myths, listening to your body, and coming to terms with never being on any type of diet again.
And, sometimes — no matter how much you may say you want to ditch diets — when it comes to shifting your entire thought process around your eating style, there is a part of you that may be resistant to the idea of not using a plan, program, rules, or restrictions to make you feel comfortable eating.

Working together with me, you will learn how to eat for satisfaction and pleasure, set boundaries to care for yourself, and not base your ideas of success on someone else’s rules. I will help you develop the right headspace and habits to apply the principles of Intuitive Eating. You will receive the nutritional education and individualized tools and resources you need to gain the confidence you need to trust the wisdom of your body.
